The Canal Winchester Art Guild, in cooperation with the City of Canal Winchester and local building owners, has for the past three years installed murals on several of the historic downtown buildings. Each mural costs approximately $1,000 for production, installation and eventual removal. It is our hope that the murals benefit Canal Winchester as an art destination thus bringing more visitors to our city, specifically the historic downtown. The murals are selected through a jurying process of works created by the Canal Winchester Art Guild Members. The 2015, 2016, and 2017murals with their locations are shown below. The 2018, and 2019 mural winners are below that.
The mural project is ongoing and always accepts donations to maintain the quality and longevity of the murals.
